TALK by: Yoav Shavit
ENTRY fee: donation.

We are born into a physical body and very quickly we are being taught how to use and listen to it. However, we have another “body” existing in us – an emotional-energetic one. So how can we listen to our emotions? How can we connect with our inner-self?

Energetic Scanning is a simple self-observing tool that anyone can use. It was developed by Medical Intuition practitioners in order to diagnose illnesses and same like physical issues it allows us to diagnose emotional and energetic issues just the same. It is a tool that helps us look into ourselves in an intuitive and constructed way, allowing us to understand what we’re doing right and what we’re doing not-so-right. All of the answers are inside of us and the scan helps us reach these answers.

Using Energetic Scanning we can in fact create tables and lists of our “energetic leeks” or “emotional malfunctions”, in order to get better understanding of ourselves and to live in peace and harmony – body, mind and soul.

Yoav Shavit spent years of his life with one foot in the High-Tech world and the other foot in the spiritual world. In the last few years he is developing his practice as a therapist and spiritual consultant in Berlin.

Simon Eugene is a prolific, maverick songwriter who has travelled far and wide with his music. He has worked with some of the monoliths of the music world. Bob Clearmountain, Chris Potter & the legendary Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey, who describes him as a “totally original and hypnotic artist whose feast of sound arrangements and melody reaches my inner soul.”

His first band, the psychedelic pop group Out of my Hair, received extensive national and international radio play, scored a few minor hits and released a timeless album called Drop the Roof.

In Japan Simon became a character with his very own Manga cartoon strip, as his moniker, Comfort the ‘Spirit of Music’. Tours followed, highlights being supports with Radiohead and David Bowie among others.

After OOMH had run its course Simon formed the International Love Corporation, a fantastic riot of love filled stadium psychedelic rock that featured an ever rotating band of musicians many of whom would not even know the songs before they got up onstage to play them. It was an absolute happening, from which came the album, the Experimental Shape of Happiness.

After spending some time living in Berlin, diversifying into film-making, Simon has teamed up with the original guitarist from Out of my Hair, Sean Elliot and started performing live again earlier this year.

Music is in Simon’s soul, with a unique sound that is very much is own, but to describe where he is currently one could evoke the magical, lyrical sounds of Astral Weeks era Van Morrisson, the country leaf folk of Nick Drake and the psychedelic acoustic wanderings of Syd Barrett.

With lyrics that penetrate deep into the bosom of existence and vestiges of Eastern influences creeping in on the guitar, a first ever tour of Germany has been organized, starting in October. And from the way things are sounding, it promises to be a very special one.

CHAI TEA is a special drink and from now on it’s going to be even more appreciated as we serve it ONLY ON SUNDAYS! Come over if you miss the taste of chai tea, ginger tea or herbal tea.
